Data Categories primary purposes
1.Organization
so we're going to use data categories to tag and organize our knowledge articles in a very logical manner.
2.Secure access to articles
so when we're tagging these articles, we can use those same tags to secure them to the right audiences.
Data Categories structure :
-> upto 3 category Groups
-> Max of 5 Hierarchy levels in each group
-> Each group can contain up to 100 categories
Data Category visibility:
Visibility can be controlled by role,profile or permission set.
There are three types of visibility
Custom: Selected Categories are visible
None: No categories are visible
All Categories: All categories are visible
